The Colac Careers Expo will be on Tuesday 14 June 2022, held at Bluewater Fitness Centre. This one-day event begins at 10am and finishes at 4pm
Attendees have the opportunity to talk to a wide range of career, industry and course advisors on a one on one basis. Our exhibitors and presenters will consist of local, regional and metropolitan representatives including Victorian Universities and Tafes. It is expected that as many as 500 students, parents, jobseekers and career changers from across the South West are looking to attend.
The Colac Careers Expo format has many elements including:
– Career and Course Exhibitor displays
– Manufacturer and Trade interactive activities
– Comprehensive Apprenticeship/Traineeship Information Sessions
– Tertiary Information Session and Exhibits
To make available a broad spectrum of careers and local jobs especially for those in isolated and remote communities of the South West.
To offer current advice regarding qualifications, training and prerequisites, business prospects and vocational opportunities to students, careers-changers, jobseekers & parents.
To encourage students to consider broader pathway options.
To assist parents of students with understanding career and course pathways
