Colac Area Health

Colac Area Health is a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services to enable our patients, residents and clients to access care close to home.

As a key employer in our community we provide employment pathways into a wide spectrum of roles within a variety of professions such as office administration, reception, data entry, record keeping, ward clerks, kitchen, food service, laundry, cleaning, porters, handy persons, assistance in nursing and more.

Our supportive, values based culture, with a focus on ‘grow your own,’ encourages community engagement through our student placement, volunteer programs and traineeship opportunities to enable employment access for students from the age of 15 years.

In partnership with TAFE and universities we develop employment opportunities for students who are wanting to progress their on the job experiences or explore new areas of interest.
